  • 1 cup wild blueberries
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds or poppy seeds
  • 1 egg egg wash (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup until a dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the wild blueberries.
  5. On a floured surface, knead the dough a few times until smooth.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
  7. Place the shaped bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush with egg wash if desired, and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
