Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
Rice
  • 2 cups uncooked jasmine rice
Vegetables
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup snap peas
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

Cook the Rice
  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
Prepare the Chicken
  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken with teriyaki sauce and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked and caramelized.
Sauté the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add the broccoli, carrots, and snap peas. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In serving bowls, layer the cooked rice, followed by the teriyaki chicken and sautéed vegetables. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
