  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, and honey.
  2. Add cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.
Marinate the Steak
  1. Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  2. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for best results.
