Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skin-on preferred
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 lemon lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
Grill the Salmon
  1. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 2-4 minutes until cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the salmon. It should be flaky and moist.
