Ingredients
  

Cucumbers
  • 4 medium cucumbers sliced thinly
Marinade
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dill dried or fresh
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Cucumbers
  1. Wash the cucumbers and slice them thinly.
Make the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, dill, and minced garlic until well combined.
Combine and Marinate
  1. Add the sliced cucumbers to the marinade and stir to coat evenly.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a jar or container, seal it, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve
  1. Serve the marinated cucumbers chilled as a side dish.
