Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 2 pints ice cream softened, any flavor
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream for topping
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup optional

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Place the crust in the freezer for 30 minutes to set.
Make the Filling
  1. In a large bowl, soften the ice cream until it is easy to stir.
  2. Spoon the softened ice cream into the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  3. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Serve
  1. Once the pie is firm, remove it from the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired. Serve immediately.
