Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheese, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and salsa. Mix well.
Assemble the Taquitos
- Heat the corn tortillas in a frying pan until warm and pliable. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling on one end of each tortilla and roll tightly.
Fry the Taquitos
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the taquitos in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Use tongs to turn them.
Drain and Serve
- Remove the taquitos from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with salsa or guacamole.
