Ingredients
  

Sushi Rice
  • 2 cups sushi rice rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups water for cooking rice
Tuna Mixture
  • 2 cans canned tuna drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise preferably Japanese mayo
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha optional for spice
Vegetables
  • 1 cup cucumber sliced thin
  • 1 carrot carrot shredded
  • 1 avocado avocado sliced
  • 1 cup edamame shelled and cooked
Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons nori sheets, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions green onions sliced

Method
 

Prepare Sushi Rice
  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions using a rice cooker.
Make Tuna Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha. Mix well.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In serving bowls, place a portion of sushi rice at the bottom.
  2. Top with the tuna mixture, cucumber, carrot, avocado, and edamame.
  3. Garnish with nori strips, sesame seeds, and sliced green onions.
