Ingredients

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt for pasta water
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated

Method

Cook Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta in a colander.
Prepare Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
