Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar to activate yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Filling
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Topping
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix together minced garlic, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and black pepper.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, then roll it tightly into a log.
  4. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake the Rolls
  1. Brush the rolls with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
