Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries washed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Topping
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat the blueberries evenly.
  3. Transfer the blueberry mixture to a greased baking dish.
Make the Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Spread the topping evenly over the blueberries in the baking dish.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
