Beef
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast trimmed and cut into chunks
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
Onion
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Buns
  • 4 pieces sandwich buns toasted if desired
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. Season the beef chunks with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned beef and sliced onion in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce over the beef and onions, ensuring everything is well coated.
Cook the Beef
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  2. Once cooked, shred the beef using two forks and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Spoon the BBQ beef mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  2. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
