Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Steak
  • 1.5 pounds flank steak trimmed

Method
 

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, rosemary, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
Grill the Steak
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  3. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches the desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare).
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Slice against the grain and serve.
