  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil toasted for more flavor
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dressing
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  3. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Before serving, shake well and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
