Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
Marinade
  • 1/2 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
Vegetables
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeños sliced
Garnish
  • 1 avocado sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with lime juice, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes until the shrimp turns opaque.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the cucumber, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeños to the marinated shrimp. Toss gently to combine.
Serve
  1. Transfer the aguachile to a serving dish and garnish with sliced avocado and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
